Our purpose is to deliver to Local Authorities comprehensive needs led packages of Care and Education or stand alone services for vulnerable girls / young women with complex needs based around three key areas, residential care, education and therapeutic services . Placements are offered on a medium to long term basis, with young people staying until they are ready to live more independently, return to family, move onto fostering or leave school. Care packages will be delivered:
• Through the provision of Specialist Residential Childcare and accommodation of a high standard providing a safe caring and nurturing environment.
• Through the recruitment, retention and development of a professionally trained workforce from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences who are motivated and equipped to meet the needs of the young women placed.
• Through the Provision of high quality teaching and learning opportunities via access to, or attendance at our DCFS Registered and SEN Approved school catering for girls / young woman with SEBD or; via support provided to young women in external education resources.
• Through the provision of a comprehensive range of Therapeutic services overseen by a consultant clinical psychologist with expertise of working with looked after children and childhood trauma. Includes assessment, consultancy, individual therapy and treatment.
• Through access to a range of complimentary services including access to our fostering service for bridging, respite, befriending or transition placements .
