Cornerways Fostering Services has been caring for children since 2004. It is part of the larger Cornerways Organisation which offers other care and educational services for young people. Our Fostering Service provides foster placements for babies, children and young people from birth to 18 years old. We also provide foster placements for parent(s) and their babies together.
Our foster homes are located in Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and South London. In December 2010 there were 29 Cornerways foster homes; this is expected to increase to 50 by 2012 with new Foster Carers recruited across these areas. Our Foster Carers come from a diverse variety of backgrounds, experiences, religious beliefs and lifestyles and we value this and the opportunities it offers young people.
As a fostering service we provide foster placements for various Local Authorities including West Sussex, Brighton & Hove, Hampshire, Sutton, Merton, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and many other South London Boroughs.
In November 2010 Ofsted inspected Cornerways Fostering Services and judged it to be an Outstanding provision. The inspection report can be seen on the Ofsted website - www.ofsted.gov.uk.
